My mother,Lilly Pauline Johnsen,b.May 21.1903.Lived in Ostersunds gate 14.in Trondheim.Later,around 1925 she married an Ostborg.That,s Norw.OE.Ostborg lived on the same street,number 10.Which Oestborg? They had one child,Mary.Any hints??S.H.Sponaas.

No hints.There is no Østborg in Østersunds gt. around 1925 or later.In 1925 Trondhjems adressebok reports of only one Østborg, opsynsm. John Østgaard, i Skansegt. 32.

Going back to 1900: There are two "Østborg" families in Østersunds gt.10, but no "Johnsens" in #14 in the 1900 census for Trondheim. My qualified guess is that Oluf Østborg + wife Martha are parents to John Østborg (wife Mette) who is married and has his own family in 1900. Based on age difference, Oscar Østborg (b.1892), is the most likely spouse for Lilly Pernille(?)What were the names of her parents? It should be possible to find them in the 1900 census.Did she and her spouse-to-be live in Østersund gt. until they married in 1925?Mvh Kjell Hamberg
