I'm trying to find more information about my great grandparents. My great-grandfather's name was John Christopherson and his wife's name was Petra Torguson. I'm not sure of the spelling in Norway, but that's the spelling they used at times in the U.S. John was born May 5, 1846 and Petra was born in 1851. They emigrated to the U.S. in about 1887 and were supposed to have lived in Oslo. Can anyone give any help or suggestions? My e-mail address is dalphs@reeusda.gov Thanks, Duane Alphs
