[#5957] Mikkel Sjursen/ Astrid Olsdtr. Indbjoe 1774

I am trying to find information on my tipp-oldeforeldre - Mikkel Sjursen who moved to the Indbjoe farm in 1774.The bygdebok for Ølen does not mention where he came from, his wife was Astrid Olsdatr. and where she is from is not mentioned either. They are not mentioned as a married couple in Fjelberg 1739-1745. Their first childwas born in 1745.Would the probate records help? Does Anyone have suggestions on how to proceed from here?Any suggestions will be gratefully accepted.Takk.Arne Mikal

In the probate records for Sunnhordland you will find Mikkel Sjursen here(info from the registers):Mikkel Sjursen Indbjoe - Fjelberg (tinglag) 933 (page) A.a.9c (protocol) 1785-1787 (years).And also:Ole Mikkelsen Indbjoe - Fjelberg 101 A.e.2 1825-1834In 1801 Oles brother Lars was living with him at Indbjoe. Lars was a "lunatic" - but I`m sure you`ve found that allready.

They married in Øystese (Kvam) Hordaland 21.03.1745.I got this information from FamilySearch Internet Genealogy Service.

Arne Mikal.I used Astrid Olsdatter when I searched for their marriage,just for the reason that Mikkel is spelled in so many different ways. Regards Rune Thorstensen

In the Bygdebok from Kvam (Hordaland) I found:Mikjell Sjurson Tveit 1711- m.1745 to Astrid Olavsdtr.Skålheim 1723- children listed: 1. Olav 1746- 2. Lars 1748- 3. Ragna 1751- 4. Geitrud 1755-The family lived for some years at the Tveit farm, before moving to Innbjoa during the 1750'sRegards, Elin
