My greatgrand mothers name was Oline Sophie Dahl.She was born in 1870. She married an Anderson. They had a child named Alfred around 1891. It's hard to read the writing but it looks like the town was Thrandjun. I think it may have been Throndhjem. If you could help me with any info please email me. Thanks Becky Besu@aol.com

I cannot find anyone matching the names of your great grandparents and their son Alfred in the 1900 census for Throndhjem and the neighbouring county of Strinden.By the way, what is your name?I will also try the 1875 census and see if I could come up with any results.

I actually found an Oline Sophie Dahl, born 1870, in the 1875 census for Strinden. She was born in the parish of Lade which is now a part of Trondheim. She was living with her foster parents, Ingebrigt Arntsen and Sara Hansdatter.
