We need help finding information on the ancestors of Nicholas Abrahamson & Ole Andrew Abrahamson. They were brothers who came from the Telemark region of Norway. My information says Nicholas was born on August 27, 1844 in Eidanger, Telemark, Norway. Ole Andrew was born March 24, 1851 in Larvik, Norway. I also believe they had a half brother Arnt Erickson who's father was Erick Erenson. Any help you could give a beginner would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! Seems there were more siblings than just the two! I found Nikolai Abrahamsen b. Aug 27 1844, christened Oct 20 1844 in Eidanger, Telemark. Parents were Abraham Nilsen (son of Nils) and Elen Kristine Nilsdtr. (daugther of Nils). They also had these children: Olalia and twin sister Anne Katrine, b. 25 Aug 1847, christened 17 Oct 1847. Ole Andreas (your Ole Andrew - Americanization) b. March 24 1851, christened May 18 1851. And finally Abraham b. Jul 14 1855, christened Sep 2 1855. All born and christened in Eidanger parish!Abraham Nilsen is born 1782, his father was Nils Nøglegaard (more modern is Nøklegård), he was a widower when he married the 40 years younger Elen Kirstine/Kristine Nilsdtr. b. 1822, daughter of Nils Hjerteveg. Date of marriage is 19 Jul 1844 in Eidanger.I believe Abraham Nilsen is the same one who on April 6 1810 married Oline Erichsdtr. Children: Margrethe 1730, Hans 1732, Jacob 1735, Amund 1738, Martha 1741, NIELS 1743, Maren 1746-1747.3) Niels Olssøn, dead 1782 38 1/2 y. 1. married Cathrine Jonsdatter Solum, Brunlanes, dead 1789 42 y. She 2. married 1783 widower Niels Sørensen Nedre Lunde. She was daugther of Jon Torgerssøn Solum and Gunbjørg Larsdatter. Children: Maren 1767, Ole 1770, Gunbjør 1773, Ingebor 1776, Jon 1779-1779, ABRAHAM 1782.4) Abraham Nielsen 1782 - 1861. 1.marriage 1810 Oline Gurine Eriksdatter 1787-1842. Daugther of Erik Sørensen Langangen. 2.marriage 1844 Ellen Kirstine Nilsdatter 1822-1882. Ellen 2.marriage 1862 Erik Evensen b.1832 Asvall in Bamble. She was daugther of Niels Larsen Hjertevig. Children: Nils 1810-1822- drowned in Langangsfjorden; Sara 1812-1816; Sara 1816-1884, married 1837 Anders Johnsen 1813-1893. Son of John Andersen Qvæstad. They lived at Søndre Lunde (bruknummer (bnr.)1); Katerine 1819-1846. Married 1838 farmer Ole Isachsen 1818-1893. Son of Isach Rasmussen Berg. They lived at Ramberg (bnr.1); Maren Kristine 1821-1822; Nilla Marie 1823-1903. Married 1843 farmer Nils Wetlesen 1817-1895. Son of Wetle Nielsen Slevolden. Married shipscaptain Jens Petter Eriksen 1849-1917. Lived at Bråten (bnr. 7); Anne Katrine 1847-1884. Married 1880 her brother-in-law Jens Petter Eriksen; Ole Andreas 1851, USA 1868, Blomer Wisconsin; Abraham 1855. Married to Lina Hansdatter Grindåsen, Røra. USA, Blomer Wisc.Children from Ellen and Erik: Ingvold 1862, USA; Arent 1866, USA. After Ellen died Erik went to his sons in USA about 1883.Thats all.
