Thank you Tor. This is the correct one. Can you find when Peder came to America? Was the farm name Mortveit before Mortvedt?Thank you. Maryanna

First: The Mortveit farm is in existance today. The correct spelling of the farmname is Morttveit. Mortveittre was a part of the Mortveit farm. Peder (also called Per) born in 1844 went to America in 1866. He fled the country when the widow in the neigbourhood, Brita Larsd. Mortveit, had been pregnant. Brita got the daughter Brita Larsine Marie, born in 1866. Peder (Per) was the father of this girl, who grow up and later married Ola Ness. They had no children. The history of Mortveit and the Mortveit people is a part of the history book Skåneviksoga volume IV.
