Would appreciate someone doing a 'look up' of Caroline Magnusdatter's marriage on September 5th, 1875. I would like to know who her father was. Thank you very much.

She is here in 1900, born in Nedre Eiker (by Drammen) in 1853: LenkeFamilySearch VRI tells that she was born 11.09.1853 Eiker, parents: Magnus Nilsen and Dorte Jacobsdatter.

I think that you will find Karoline here in 1865, but the name of her mother is different Lenke

If you look at the 1865 census (the children), FamilySearch tells that Caroline, Mariane and Nils was the children of Magnus Nilsen and Dorte Jacobsdatter. Dorte must have died, and Magnus has married a second time - and had the 2 youngest children with his second wife.

Neil I have just reecieved an e-mail from a local expert that checked the church records for Onsoy. Te records shows that the bride was born 1853 in Eiker, and that her father was Magnus Nilsen! - This confirms that she is the one!
