Sorry I do not speak Norwegian...but I am hoping someone can help me. My great-great-grandfather is shown in the 1900 Census at the Jenshus Farm in Beitstaden, along with my great-uncle. What I am looking for is the name of his deceased wife and any information about her.My great great grandfather was Martinus Pedersen, a fisherman, born in 1843 in Inderoy. I have a lot of info about him and all of his 6 sons, but am not having any luck with info about his wife, who died in childbirth (or shortly thereafter).

Bygdebok III for Beitstad, page 404, Jenshussveet (a cotter's place belonging to the Jenshus farm): 'Mortinus Pedersen moved there from Inderøy with his wife Anna Jensdtr. ..... born at Gausen (Inderøy) in 1844. They brought with them 2 children.' Since you have info about their sons, I don't repeat that. 4 sons were born in Jenshussveet. 'Anna Jenshuspl. died July 8. 1885.'
