I am looking for the children of Jonas Semsen Vaule and Inger Retsine Thomasdtr Fuglestad. They were married 10 April 1913 in Bjerkreim.They had seven children: Gunvor f. 1915, Alfhild f. 1917, Sigurd f. 1919, Tor f. 1921, Alf f. 1923, Kjell f. 1925 and John f. 1927.I found Sigurd, Tor & Alf in Bjerkreim kirkebøker. The books go only to 1923, so Kjell & John are not shown.But... I can not find Gunvor or Alfhild. I have searched Helleland, Bjerkreim, Lund, Heskestad. I'm running out of ideas for where to look. They should be in the Helleland/Bjerkreim kirkebok, but they are not.I would appreciate any assistance.Hilsen Patti Mikkelsen

The other brothers may be burried in the same area, but I need their birth date, or you can look for it yourself. http://www.disnorge.no/gravminner/vis.php?mode=x Use 'Finn gravplass', and write only the first name, birth date and year.

Hei BeritI'm certain that is Kjell's grave and most likely Tor's. I am less certain of John's because I don't have a middle name for him or a date of birth, only a year (1927).My biggest mystery is the birth of the two girls: Gunvor in 1915 and Alfhild in 1917.Here is Jonas & Inger's marriage in 1913 Bjerkreim (#4).Permanent sidelenke: LenkeThey were both from Bjerkreim. I can't imagine why the birth of their first two children is not recorded here. If they moved away for a few years, I can't find them. Some years at Fuglestad in Bjerkreim. from 1927 back to Vaule where they lived after that.Children:Gunvor 01.10.1915, born at Grannes, Sandnes. Lived at Hillevåg, Stavanger.Sigurd 04.07.1919, ran the farm at Vaule in Bjerkreim. married 1946 Ada born Svela born 1925 6 children. Thor 27.03.1921 (or 28.03.1921, as the church bokk saya), married 1951 in Sandnes: Olaug Svendsen from Sandnes. Lived at Lura, Sandnes. Bulldozer driver.Alf 21.02.1923, born at Veen, Bjerkreim. died 06.04.1944, Poliomyelitt, forced laborer for the 'germans' at a work camp at Eikeland i Heia, Bjerkreim, where he got ill.Kjell 08.05.1925, married 1949 in Gjesdal: Lilly Tjelta from Ålgård, Gjesdal.
