MOMS is an almost comprehensive collection of Minnesota marriage records, except for two counties: Scott county and Washington (which includes Stillwater) county which do not participate.  Ramsey, the county of St. Paul (half of the Twin cities) has only a partial index of marriages prior to 2000.

About the identification of the marriage couple as Severt Wick and Mary Olson Djonne, there must still have been some connection that led to the family in Norway getting the picture.

 

Here is an obituary of Severt.  His daughter was born about 1897 or so.

I dont think there have been any connection between Josephine Gurine and the couple Mary and Severt in Montana. I think the connection have been in Norway. Some family members to a sister and a brother to Josephine lived in the Hardanger area, close to Ullensvang where Mary came from. I dont know whether there have been any family relation between Josephines family there and Marys family, but they lived quite close to each other.

Jeg har ikke klart å finne Josephine i Minnesota. Søk i lenkene fra Egil gir et stort antall med navn Josephine, men jeg har så langt ikke funnet nok opplysninger til å identifisere noen av dem som riktig person. 
Jeg har også lett i opplysningene om hennes utreise fra Norge uten å finne noen flere opplysninger der. Jeg kan heller ikke finne noen opplysninger om at hun skulle ha returnert til Norge.

Saken om hva som skjedde med Josephine er derfor fremdeles helt åpen.  
Foreløpig takk til alle som har bidratt så langt, og så får jeg se om det kan komme nye opplysninger etter hvert.
