Odda i Ullensvang (help!)

Can someone help me decipher the names in this birth record?  It is for the baptism of my 6th g-grandfather, Jon Salomonsen.  The bygdebok states that he was born at Bakke in Odda.  I can see that the farm name begins with a "B", but it doesn't look like Bakke.  Also, I can't make out the surname for Salomon (Jonsen/Torson?).  His mother is Barbara, but I can't read the word that appears after her name in this record.

Finally, does anyone know why so many of the entries on this page are crossed out?

I will appreciate any assistance...

den 4- Aug. døbte jeg et barn, som bleff kaldet Jon,

fød paa Bache, faderen Salomon Torsøn, Moderen

Barbara Povelsd.

It does say Bakke, but with danish-norwegian spelling.

Salomon's father was named Tor, and Barbro's (or Barbara) Pål (Povel or Paul is originally danish forms of the name, Pål [and Paul] mostly used in Norway).

Tusen takk, Atle!  I might have figured out the father's name, but I never would have seen Povelsd. in that handwriting!
