Help with a record - Røros 1720

Recommended Posts

Michael Baird

First time posting here.  Looking for help with interpretation of a christening record from 1720 in Røros.

Record is at this link.

It is on the right hand side page about 2/3 the way down.

It is the christening of Siri daughter to Iver Kuraasen (that is my interpretation).  It is immediately after the marriage of Ingebrigt ?? and Beritte Olsdatter.

I think the marriage and the christening are the same date, which is what I have a difficult time figuring out.

I have a jpg image that I think I've attached to this post.

Thanks,

Mike Baird

Da blef og Jver Kuraasens Barn,

døbt og kaldet Siri, fadd: Malene Brun,

Anne Knudsdatter, Eva Clausdat-

ter, Hans Hiordt og Ole Christens. […]
