Lincoln W. Nesset, 78, died on Saturday, April 7, 2007, at the St. Petersburg General Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.

He was born in Gordonsville, Minnesota. He lived in Northwood, Iowa, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Albert Lea, Minnesota and Los Angeles, California. At the age of 17 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, spending time in Arabia, Afghanistan and many other countries. He returned to finish his education and graduate from the Northwood High School in 1950.

Lincoln was a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the VFW, American Legion and the First Lutheran Church. One of his first jobs was as a theater projection operator and as a teenager he enlisted in the Civil Air Patrol. He worked as a crew chief surveyor in Worth County and as chief gardener at the Curtis Hotel in Minneapolis. One of his first loves was music. He was a leader and drummer of The Convertibles, a very successful band that traveled all over the United States.

Lincoln is survived by his beloved daughter, Tanyier Malai Joan Prechl and other children; his caregiver, Victoria Cossette; his sister's, Bette Perkins and Kathryn Olson; and other beloved family members.

He was preceded in death by first born sister, Ardis Elaine who died at birth; mother, Olga C. Sanvold Nesset and father, John T. Nesset; sister, Lorraine Touberg of Austin, Minnesota; brother, Orville Nesset of Glenville, Minnesota; and sister, Beverly Kral of Faribault, Minnesota.

Lincoln will be sadly missed by family and friends. Lincoln's remains will be interned at Fort Snelling, St. Paul, sometime in August.

Begge foreldrene til Endre døde iflg siden Ann-Mary lenket til flere år etter at Endre emigrerte. Kanskje det kan finnes opplysninger om ham i forbindelse med foreldrenes dødsfall?

FARIBAULT - Beverly C. Kral, age 81, of Faribault, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, at the St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan.31, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault, with Rev. Andrew Ritchie, Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault, officiating. Interment will be at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Beverly Colleen Nessert, the daughter of John T. and Olga (Sandvold) Nessert, was born on Oct. 11, 1925, in Northwood, Iowa. She graduated from Northwood High School with the class of 1944. She was united in marriage to Martin Kral. He preceded her in death in December of 1985. Beverly worked as a welder at American Gas Co. in Albert Lea before moving to Faribault with her husband in the 1940s. She was a homemaker for much of her life and also worked as a waitress at the Maid Rite. She also worked for the Turkey Plant and the Faribault Regional Center. She had retired from the Regional Center and was at one time president of their Union.

She survived by three children, Kathleen A. Reuvers of Glen Ellyn, Ill., Karen Viar of Phoenix, Ariz., and David M. Kral (and Meghan Brown) of Faribault; two grandsons, Joseph M. Kral of Minneapolis and Jayden Kral of Faribault; brother, Lincoln Nesset of Pinellas Park, Fla.; two sisters, Betty Perkins and Kathryn Olson, both of Albert Lea; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two sons, Martin Steven Kral and Larry Wayne Kral; sister, Lorraine Tverberg; and brother, Orville Nesset.

En av årsakene kan ha vært at jeg dengang primært var A i Anne, en annen at man ikke kan være sikker på at dette er Endre Endresen, Anne onkel. Jeg ser jo at han også bor et sted i Minnesota.......

Nå vet jeg jo en del om Anne, og er temmelig sikker på at det er "min" Anne. Jeg har forsøkt å finne nålevende etterkommere sånn at jeg kan komme i kontakt med slekten i USA.....

Obituary

Memorial Services for Robert "Bob" S. Peterson, Albert Lea, will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at the First Presbyterian Church, Albert Lea. The Reverend Dwight Netzer will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Military Honors will be accorded by Albert Lea Veteran's Organizations. Friends may visit with family from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea, and one hour before the service at the church. Bob passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Mayo Health System Albert Lea. He was 86. He was born on August 10, 1925, in Freeborn County, the son of Bert and Hannah (Nelson) Peterson. He grew up in the Clarks Grove area, and attended Clarks Grove Schools. Bob enlisted and proudly served our country in the U.S. Army Aircorps. When he returned from the service, Bob began working in construction. He later worked for the city of Albert Lea, being the first to operate a dredging machine and then spending the rest of his career working for the city as a mechanic. He married Mildred Nesset on November 24, 1946, in Northwood, Iowa, she preceded him in death. In 1980, Bob married Margaret Wangen Satter at Trinity Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. He was a member of the American Legion and the V.F.W. In his younger years he was a motorcycle enthusiast. In his later years he found much enjoyment in the game of golf. He also enjoyed his fishing trips up north visiting his brother-in-law. He is survived by his wife Margaret of Albert Lea; three children: Steven (Kathleen) Peterson of Wayzata, MN, Wayne "Tubby" (Sue) Peterson of Glenville, Joanne Almquist of Albert Lea; grandchildren: Matthew Peterson of Maple Grove, MN, Jesse Peterson of Mpls, MN, Elliott and Christine Peterson of Glenville, MN , Michael (Michelle) Hanson of Albert Lea, Elisa (Michael) Nowakowski of Clovis, NM, Tara Almquist of Albert Lea; stepgrandson Thomas (Mellisa)Maher of Corcoran, MN; greatgrandchildren, Mackenzie, Michaela and Lola Hanson, Oliver Nowakowski; sisters-in-law Miriam Wangen of Brownsdale, MN, Florence Thompson of Utah, brother-in-law Melvin Stoa of LaPorte, MN and several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Mildred in 1979, brother Richard Peterson and stepdaughter Leslie Ann Satter.

Remembering the life of Leslie Ann Satter…

The Funeral Service for Leslie Ann Satter, of Albert Lea, will

be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Bonnerup

Funeral Service, 2210 East Main, Albert Lea. The Reverend

Milton Ost will officiate. Interment will be in Oakland Lutheran

Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at

the funeral home. Leslie died at her home on Friday, July 17, 2009. She was 51. Leslie was born on March 1, 1958, in Albert Lea the daughter of Wesley W. and Margaret (Wangen) Satter. Her father

Wesley died suddenly in November of 1957, before she was born.

She graduated from Albert Lea High School. Leslie loved animals and she and her mother had bought an acreage and enjoyed having and riding horses together. She was especially fond of her pet “kitty”.
She will be greatly missed by her family, her mother and
stepfather: Margaret and Robert Peterson of Albert Lea, step-brothers and sisters: Steven (Kathy) Peterson of Mpls, MN, Wayne (Sue) Peterson of Albert Lea, Joanne (Doyle) Almquist of Alden; Aunts Miriam Wangen of Brownsdale, MN, Sylvia Satter of Albert Lea and uncle Melvin Stoa of LaPorte, MN, many cousins including special cousin Hazel Spiering.

She was preceded in death by her father Wesley Satter, grandparents Charlie and Ananda Wangen and Grant and Mable Satter.
