Helen C. Prindel, 79, of Corvallis, formerly of Toledo, died April 20, 2001. 

She was born in Toledo on Nov. 22, 1921 to Harry and Ragna (Leganger) Matteson. 

She was raised and educated in Toledo. (LINCOLN CO.)

She retired from Bess Kaiser Hospital in Portland and moved to Corvallis. 

She was a member of the Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing, baking, flower gardening, and collecting "Betty Boop items. 

She is survived by her husband, Dube Prindel; children Florence, Abe, Delbert, Billie and Colleene; brothers LeRoy Matteson of Burnt Woods and Rueben Dobbins of Coburg; sisters Ruth Lewis of Portland, Ina Alford of Corvallis, and Belle Wells of Aumsville; 22 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held April 23 at McHenry Funeral Home in Corvallis. Committal services followed.

She had been previously married to a Mr. HALL in abt. 1940 and had children: Florence Ruth HALL and Abe Watson HALL.

The children of Delbert L. PRINDEL and Helen Christine MATTESON are: Delbert Theodore PRINDEL born Feb. 2, 1948; Ina Belle, aka Billie PRINDEL born Mar. 18, 1949; and Helen Colleene PRINDEL born Oct. 29, 1951; all born in Benton County, OR.

Har ikke funnet ham etter Census 1900.

Han sto  som "inmate". 

Kanskje han døde mellom 1900 og 1910?

I 1910 bodde Jacobia og familien i Toledo, Licoln County OR - de flyttet dit ca 1908 iht. en liten artikkel som omhandler datteren Hilda sin vielse i 1910.

 

Jeg finner denne notisen i 1908 hvor Jacobs etternavn står som Zhol? Uansett, det står videre at han var sønn av Mrs. J. Leganger, 22 år gl. og at kisten ble sendt til Nashville (i Lincoln County), ikke langt fra Toledo. Finner ingen andre Mrs. J Leganger i dette området. Står videre at han døde søndag og dette sto på trykk fredag 28.2., dvs. han døde søndag 23.2.1908.
