I'll put the following:

http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wipierce/bethelce.txt

I only had pages 1 and 3 of the Bethel Mission Covenant Cemetery  so I used this which

was printed on the pages I had.  Page 2 will list Olaus, etc.

The following was sent from 'Dan Geister'  riverfallshistory@yahoo.com after I wrote to them.

One of the oldest residents died at the Ellsworth Nursing Home where he had been a patient for about 13 months.  He was born in Sweden  and

came with his parents Erick Engelretson at the age of 7.  They settled near Red Wing and later moved to the Moeville area in Pierce.  He farmed many years

and was never married.  Ed was a very friendly person and had many friends.  Surviving are a sister Mrs.  CA Englebretson of St. Paul and several nieces

and nephews.  Funeral Services were from the Winberg Chapel with Rev. Frank Friberg officiating.  Interment was in the Bethel Covenant Cemetery at Moeville.

His father Erick might have died June 23, 1923 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but I did not find a subsequent obituary in the next Pierce County Herald.

I still haven't quite got all of this family figured out !  All your help is great...and I started to wonder the relationship of Marianne Eng. to our family; I think

there is a relationship but really can't remember.   Carla

Thank you for the link to the Bethel Mission Covenant Cemetery record. I see in the group listed with Erick Engelbretson is a Lisa born about 1861 died about 1899. I think that must be Elise daughter of Erick and listed on the 1875 Norwegian Census.

Here is the copy of the section of the Bethel Mission Covenant Cemetery record covering the Anna Charlotte part. I see there is another Anna listed. Seems that she was 57 years old when she died in July of 1887. Do you have any idea who she might  be?

Anderson Olaues 20 Dec 1839-4 Jul 1914

-  " Anna C. 1857-1928 Sister

 " Anna d. July 1887 Alder of 53 AR

Could she be the sister  of Olaues Anderson? This is likely her record in FAG.

Hello again,

I think you've found out alot and so I dug around more --

The 1920 census looks correct.  I figured out that all the markers

at the Bethel Covenant Cemetery for Anna C. Anderson, Lisa,

Erik and Mariana all look alike.   The same shape, printing and

flowers at both sides of all of them.  They are pretty!

Just a guess - that Olaues' memorial is different - perhaps

because he died before Anna that she had chosen his and then her

family (ones that remained) thought to have the identical marker like

their family for Anna.  ??

I'm going to do a little digging on Mariana and try to refind the connection to my family.

Also try to find the family when they came to Minnesota - Red Wing I think...  Carla
