In Search Of Information Regarding Albertine Sophie Elvig, born January 7, 1840 in Hordaland, Norway

Johanne Regine Reimers (born Elvig October 17, 1847 Bergen, died April 29, 1882 in Kristiania = Oslo).

She was a well known actress, she died young.  

She was the daughter of cooper Arne Elvig (1801-1848) and Johanne Johnsdatter (1802-1875)

She was first maried to actor Mathias Juell, their marriage was dissolved in 1881 and she then married actor Arnoldus Reimers.

Her daughter in her first marriage was the stage actress who was later known as Johanne Dybwad (1867-1950).

There is a sculpture of Johanne Dybwad close to the National theatre here in Oslo. She was a leading actress at the National theatre from 1899 till 1947.
