I am looking for the birth record of Anna Aannesdatter (daughter of Aanen Aannensen born about 1831) who I believe would be born in 1841, 1842.

The parish registry for book number 5 seems to be missing on the list for Rennesøy soknesprestkontor. That is the book which would be showing the dates I need to research. Is there a reason that set of records is missing?

This is a little bit confusing... If Anna was born in 1841, 1842, her dad, born 1831, would have been 11 or 12 years old. What does the link from the parish register 1860-1878 tell about Anna? Where is her name mentioned here?

But her father's name is Aanen Jacobsen.

Here is the family in the bygdebok for Rennesøy.

Aanen Aanensen was Anna's brother.

Anna Aanensdatter, who emigrated with Aanen Aanensen and his wife and daughter in 1858, is Aanen Aanensen’s sister.

 

Her confirmation can be found on page 206 No 41, as indicated at the emigration
