In the recorded agreements there are the following columns: Part I gives a person's name and his farm. Part 2 gives another person's name and farm. Then the type of case is recorded with the day, month and year. The Last column consists of the page number and protocol years. An example (leaving out the farm name): Gabriel XXX Anders XXX Vanntvist July 2, 1936. page 169B 1932-1939 Question: Which fellow brought up the complaint? I am guessing this is similar to being sued? Who (which column) is paying and who is being paid? This Gabriel was listed often between 1913 and 1949 in the first column (Part I). Is he a grouchy old man who liked to pick a fight or is he the one being picked on?
