    Bertha Andreasdotter frå Kalhagen i Luster (1864-1965) var nok full av eventyrlyst då ho alt kring 1890 flytte frå det «rolege» Eau Claire, WI til «ville vesten» Helena, MT. Ho vart gift to gongar og opplevde nok litt av kvart før ho døydde knapt 101 år gamal! Men er det mogeleg å finna nokre av dei detaljane som framleis manglar i biografien hennar? Dei fleste av desse opplysningane vart samla på 1980-talet, og det er i grunnen ikkje so altfor mykje som manglar: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ NB: Etter nye interessante opplysningar er dette manuskriptet no erstatta av eit nytt i Innlegg #4 under: Eg takkar so mykje på førehand for alle gode tips!
