This is interesting and new information Anton. Because Johans grandmother came from a place called Bakke. They used that last name too. So Martin is probably a relative too. I will look into that. Jørgen Kristiansen is Johans friend from the neighboring farm. They travelled together. And i belive You are right that Johan/Jørgen went back to bring two brothers of Jørgen.

My relative Johan/John Olsen, seem to use his own name as the relative to visit. His full name here would bem Johan Olsen Tveter. Tveter name coming  from the farm the family live at.

Thank You Jackie. Yes i spoke to a relative to Kristiansen Tveter, and he told me that Jørgen went back to bring more of his brothers. Looks like Johan/John was with him on this first trip in 1909.

Yes this is Mary to Hans.

More interesting would be, any information regarding Mary (Marie) who

is registered as wife to John Olson in sencus 1910 to 1930.

She is registered as Norwegian, but i have no idea about her background.

John Olson is a very common name.  How have you come to the conclusion that this Dane county John Olson is the correct one?

Using familysearch.org and the census selection at genealogybank.com, I find only one John Olson born about 1878 Norway and Mary combination in the 1910 census in Wisconsin, this couple in Chippewa Falls in 1910:

"United States, Census, 1910", , FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MPVP-395 : Wed Mar 06 23:51:10 UTC 2024), Entry for John Olson and Mary Olson, 1910.

John is her 2nd husband, they have been married for only two years and she is the mother of 6 living children although none are listed in the household.  John is a house carpenter and is listed with an arrival year in US of 1899.

Whoops, sorry Jackie, I misread your above comment and assume you meant the census data for Hans and Maria. My bad.

I will do some work and see what I can find.
